Metric PE and PE Plus

Metric is a manual measuring software for measuring live - and fixed images with simple measurment functions (distances, areas, diameter, counting tasks and different masks for overlapping, registration marks, circles, ellipses, squares, grids, tolerance rings).

Metric will be delievered either:
- with Framegrabber (live picture) in the PCI Slot of a PC
- with PCMCIA Grabber for live pictures in the laptop
and for image retracting via TWAIN interface.

Metric is used in the following areas:
Semiconductor industry
- measuring of drilling holes on circuit boards
- length measuring at resistance trains

Biology
- cell count in tissue production

Printing industry
- angle measuring on textile fabrics
- exact printing of grid lines
- setup marks for the adjustment of printing systems generally
- marking of good / bad parts for quality control

Metric can read and write many image formats (bmp, wmf, gif, jpg, TIF, png, dxf and others.) The simple handling and the possibility of measuring live pictures and overlaying with objects and pictures is the essential advantage of Metric. As an OEM module Metric is usable for the mechanical engineering. Additional functions are build in at short notice and complete the machine by contactless set ups or evaluations. At present Metric is available in seven languages. (German, English, French, Dutch, Spanish Portuguese, Italian)
Metric PE plus contains further-reaching measuring functions, AVI-recording, a timer module as well as the administrator funktion for the complete program.
